The immortal words of Carola on being handed a miniture fan backstage at the Eurovision semi-final 2006. Ever since the Invincible performance (relying heavily on wind-based stage effects), I've been unable to look at a fan in the same way.

You can try to emulate Invincible, ladies. But you will fail.

La Porkers Des Indes

La Porte Des Indes is a comedy/amazing Indian restaurant-cum-theme park in Marble Arch. We went today for their 'Spectacular Sunday Jazz Brunch'. The food is great - but it is all you can eat. Which usually for me means 'more than you can eat'.

Chris wants to know what we are having for tea now.

Far from leading us to glory, Scooch didn't exactly do 'very well' at Eurovision. Still, at least they managed to get out of bed today, which is more than can be said for me. I didn't even know who had won the contest until this morning.
